After about a year of use, it may be shredded and used in the fireplace or used as fertilizer as it’s completely biodegradable, compossible and environmentally friendly.

Warm Tips: The beeswax film is hard and sticky when first used, which is normal because it’s made of organic jojoba oil, harvested beeswax and tree resin, with beeswax on both sides. The properties of beeswax and jojoba oil lend a hand keep food fresh. But after a couple of uses, they soften and are easier to work with, and the stickiness doesn’t go away.
